Sassy Pants

We went to the clinic today to get our h1n1 vaccines.
I gave Aldyn a sucker when she was finished...on the way
home I noticed she was holding the wrong end in her mouth.
Maybe she's too cool for suckers already....and
I guess maybe I deserved the dirty look...shots are no fun!

i finally remembered to take some bath time pics tonight...

i also took a couple of video clips during bath time tonight to get some of Aldyn's latest material on tape...she's such a goof!

*we've been working on making different faces...you can see she gets a little mixed up and needs some prompting

*her latest love is elmo...big bird and cousin carter come in at a close second

*she started kindermusik in september...she's usually a pill during the class, but i'm amazed at what she picks up from it...she says "happy" about 50 times a day and then i have to sing "if you're happy and you know it", she also sings, pats, claps and dances...and cracks us up in the process!

*she has recently started calling me mommy instead of mama...it must be fun to say because she repeats it over and over and over...and when she needs something the volume definitely gets louder if i don't answer the first time!

*today she pointed at her diaper and said "poo"...does that mean it's time to start potty training? can't say i'm looking forward to that too much...luckily she also asked daddy to change her dirty "biper"!

ohhh, these are the days...thanks for the joy you bring into our lives on a daily basis aldyn grace!

A Day at the Park

We took advantage of one the few nice afternoons a couple of weeks ago and went to the park. Aldyn had a great time on the slides...

Eating stale bread meant for the ducks...

She let them have some too...

She called "hiiiii duckies" and marched off to feed them as soon as we got there...

Don't leave us yet, Fall...we need to do this a few more times.
